The music video is finally complete after our long and hard work. The video turned out great and it really reflects our pasts and how we cant turn back time. I had a great time filming and editing this video and it really made me miss my past. But the video has also made me realize that we must keep moving forward and make new memories as time goes on. This was the second major project our group has worked on together this year and I'm seeing that we have improved since the last project. This means that we should only continue to improve while completing later assignments in the year. It is very important to me to improve my production skills so I was very glad how the video turned out. Looking back on the video, there was some slight problems but we ended up fixing them up before saving the final product. I'm glad I got to work with the same groupmates. This project turned out amazing and better than I ever could of thought.

Today I edited 3 more different scenes. The first scene was scene 1. I searched up 4 different gifs and combined them together. The first gif was clocks going fast to show how fast the time went by. The second was cars traveling fast. The third was the sun setting and the fourth was the sky going by fast. I combined these all using the editing software shotcut once again. I added the background music and replayed the scene to make sure it was smooth. The next scene I edited was scene 4. I took a video of Andy sitting at home and then I added an effect to make it look like Andy was reminiscing his past. The effect cut to a clip of Jibril and Andy on bikes riding around the neighborhood with each other. The next and final scene I edited was scene 6. I took the clip of the shoulder shot of Andy and combined it with scene 5. Then I added a flashback clip of Andy getting nostalgia from the Ferris wheel.  To start the editing phase of our project we combined all of the scenes in one folder. Then we sorted them out the scenes equally and talked to each other about what platform we were going to use. We decided we were going to use shotcut since one of my groupmates Andy had used it before and he said it was a good software. So I first started off with the scene of me sliding down the slide. The first thing I added was smooth background music which we all decided on using to bring the video together better. Then I waited until Andy was done editing the scene after and I combined the two so that they would look good and it wouldn't be just a boring cut from one scene to another. The second scene I edited was the scene of me walking in the front door and waving. I added the background music again and I also added the sound of a knock so it was like I knocked on the door. The first scene I needed to record was me sliding down a slide. Our music video is reflecting our pasts and one of the things I used to love to do was riding slides. I got home from school and walked over to the park in my neighborhood but the slide was a bit small. So I took my bike to the other park nearby and used those slides instead because they were bigger. I set up the camera and went down the slide. It took about 3 tries because the camera fell over twice. Once I got the video I saved it in google docs and went home to film the second scene. The second scene that needed to be filmed was me knocking on the door and my friend answering and me waving back to him. This scene also reflects back on days because when we were little kids and we visited each others houses. So to record the scene I had to wait for my mom to get home so she could record it for me.
