Final Music Video Edits

Today I edited 3 more different scenes. The first scene was scene 1. I searched up 4 different gifs and combined them together. The first gif was clocks going fast to show how fast the time went by. The second was cars traveling fast. The third was the sun setting and the fourth was the sky going by fast. I combined these all using the editing software shotcut once again. I added the background music and replayed the scene to make sure it was smooth. The next scene I edited was scene 4. I took a video of Andy sitting at home and then I added an effect to make it look like Andy was reminiscing his past. The effect cut to a clip of Jibril and Andy on bikes riding around the neighborhood with each other. The next and final scene I edited was scene 6. I took the clip of the shoulder shot of Andy and combined it with scene 5. Then I added a flashback clip of Andy getting nostalgia from the Ferris wheel. When Andy boards the Ferris wheel you can tell he was sad by his posture with his head down. Finally I finished editing the final scene and I saved the videos. Then I sent them to the shared google docs so my groupmate Andy could add some final edits. Once he was done editing he sent us the video and we all reacted to it while on a call on our phones. This music video brought back a lot of memories and we will cherish it for a long while. Well that's it for today. See you next time!

 The common camera angles in action:  Long shot: Artificially shortens the distance between two characters, tricking the viewer into thinking that the characters actually punch each other but the angle just makes it look like that.  Common Camera Angles: High Angle: These shots are used in thriller films to give the effect that whatever is being looked down on appears to look powerless and vulnerable.  Tracking/panning: Used to make it look like one of the characters is being followed or being watched. It also helps the audience to have a full view of the scene and what is happening.  Tilting Angle: These add dramatic tension to the scene, and sometimes signify a supernatural being pushing or moving the camera.  Low Angle: These are often used in thrillers to emphasize how powerful and intimidating a villain is.
